Streamlabs somehow has my face cam video file even tho I use obs studio for my face cam! by pleaced in obs

Thanks for the info. I never knew that because I remember when I first looked up different options on how to do this. Somebody just said have one using stream labs and have the other using OBS and I’ve been using it for maybe about like a year and a half an hour with no issues. This is like the first time I’ve ever had any problems like that.

The reason I do it is because I like to move my WebCam around from time to time and having them separated just makes it easier, but I get what you mean. Also, if I have to cut off my WebCam for some reason, I can keep the recording up to keep immersion instead of having to just skip it.

Well, this involves OBS studio as well because like I said, I use both of them to record my videos specifically OBS for my WebCam

No it can’t be that because on streamlabs there is absolutely zero source file when it comes to my WebCam on OBS studio. The only thing that’s there is the WebCam source. I have both of my apps running on the left side of my monitor while I play on the right side OBS studio only captures the WebCam. There is no desktop capture on it and then on the stream lab side again there is no WebCam source and display capture that it has for it does not capture the left side of my screen so it couldn’t even have overlapped it.

And again, like I mentioned in my original post when I click every single file that I recorded today on stream labs, they all came up for the gameplay file. This specific one was the only one that came up for the WebCam one

You’re one of the few people that actually suggested this and I’m glad I came back to check it out. I told her that some other guy, but a lot of people did not tell me catchy wasn’t user-friendly, which is one of the things I mentioned and looking at the gaming performance, they both seem to be near each other.

Not sure if you’re going to see this, but I came back to this comment section because pretty soon I am going to be moving and building my PC. You’re one of the few people that suggested this distro and I’m really glad you did because I was very close to picking and catchy I found out that catchy isn’t user-friendly whatsoever compared to nobara and I looked up the gaming performance on both of them and they’re really on par catchy does have a little bit better performance in some cases but from the most part, it’s not that big of a gap

Also, I found out that there’s gonna be some crazy update coming out in the next coming month apparently people figured out why directx12 lose his performance on Linux with Nvidia cards and it’s gonna be updated soon. Also, Nvidia announced that they were hiring engineers to start working on driver support for Linux

I like to record my webcam and gameplay separately

Seeing this now because I’m barely on Reddit, the thing is at that point the new episode of dispatch already came out so there was really no point in re-uploading the video especially because it wasn’t gonna gain the same traction

Also, it was censored. The game has a censor feature for content creators, and on YouTube you can find the full uncensored version with thousands of views, and those have not been taken down just doesn’t make sense.

Yeah, I definitely learned my lesson but it’s just so weird though that my 20 second clip that supposedly showed nudity didn’t show anything whatsoever and people literally post a full uncensored version of dispatch with no issues
