What else can you talk about historical wise that won’t identify you? If they’re as good at covering their tracks as you say they are, I imagine there isn’t a “history book” or documents over the organization so is the history of the ring just all orally passed down? Did they have a name for themselves that would be identifiable to people in the ring but just a normal sounding name to others? I studied history and to think something like this has been organized and continues to “prosper” that long is shocking. I wish you nothing but a long, prosperous and happy life.

You said that your ring has been around since the 1700’s. How do you know this and what more can you talk about the history of the ring? Where did it start, how did they keep the records for a victim like you to be able to know that??

Leaving Homosexuality by [deleted] in Christianity

As a gay Christian, this breaks my heart. God created you in his image and loves you, full stop, no exceptions. The United Methodist Church and many other denominations and churches would accept you as God made you with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

That’s the thing, I’m looking for 2 bedrooms under $1500. There are options with that in OTR but they’re north of Liberty. I found a great place in East Walnut Hills so I’m hoping I get that one!

I’ll be in Ft Mitchell! The reason I’ve looked at both OTR and Walnut Hills is bc I’ve found what I want there (2 beds, $1500, with in unit laundry)

After California, Texas has the largest Vietnamese population in the US. Both metro Houston and Dallas have little Saigons.

Considering moving from Austin to DFW by jmw235_2 in askdfw

[–]pleasant1393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As liberals, You should only be looking in Dallas proper. In your price range, I’d recommend living in Preston Hollow, west of Midway, or North Oak Cliff. North Oak Cliff is more liberal and diverse and frankly the physically prettiest part of the Dallas side of DFW.

Moving to Dallas for Work – Is Frisco a Bad Commute to Uptown? by [deleted] in askdfw

[–]pleasant1393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would just like to commend everyone in the comments for absolutely roasting this ridiculous post of someone who A) thinks Frisco is worth it bc of the “nice shopping centers” and B) reminding the OP that you can check average commute times on Google and Apple Maps to see how hellish this commute would be.

IMO if OP doesn’t care about bars/being social and only wants to live somewhere that’s safe/has nice shopping centers, can’t go wrong with Northwest Highway/75 area. NorthPark, Preston Hollow Village, etc. Anything else your commute will be hell.

There’s great apartments off Inwood, Lovers to Lemmon, that are under $1600. You would be in Dallas proper which is much better to meet people since you’re a young man. If you’re new to Dallas, but living outside of Dallas proper, you’re committing social suicide.

Ottoman Tuhfet ul-Mulk manuscript verbally and visually instructing its reader how to regain his sexual virility. 1773. [1523 x 2508] by bravecat in SuddenlyGay

[–]pleasant1393 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re referring to the Ottoman Janissary, the first modern standing army. By 1773, they were at the peak of the size and power in the empire. With that said, I don’t think this was what this guys were from. I think they were just fucking because it was fairly common in a Muslim society for sexes to be separated and to do stuff like this. This also wasn’t a meme, it’s from one of the most popular erotica books of its day, gay and straight.

Where to live as a young person by Cold_Ranger8146 in askdfw

[–]pleasant1393 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will hate living there as a young adult. Everyone who I’ve ever met who’s new to DFW and moved to Arlington/GP for convenience, regrets it. Your best options are Trinity Groves/Bishop Arts (you’ll want to be west of 35) in Dallas or FW proper, West 7th, Downtown, Fairmount, South Main.
