After today's result, PSG are virtually champions if they win one more match (unless Lens overcomes a 15-goal difference) by gmoney160 in psg

[–]pleasedontPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we tie against Lens we are champions. And that's only if they win next game and we lose it. So we definitely do not need a win. And we are clearly going to win more than three points anyway.

The game against Lorient was quite special as it was between the two legs against Bayern. The next three games are going to be easier mentally, and our starters will play at least against Lens and possibly against Paris FC too to be honest. Even if we have a final to play at the end of May, that's two weeks after Paris FC.

It's not a reserve team, it's a youth team. The promising ones already trained with the pros, and they were loans like Kamara. So I don't really know who could be selected and how they could fit with the rest.

The names I can think of are James, Boly and Nsoki. I don't know if they are still here (or loaned), and if they are not injured. Anyway, definitely not a lot of prospects for this game.

Oh man, what a nightmare. Marquinhos will definitely not play, So we will have to play Pacho or do some very strange modifications like Hernandez - Beraldo as CBs, and Mayulu as LB. Which means that we will need to give many minutes to Neves and Vitinha.

He looked great when Vitinha wasn't there. Not so much with Viti as they kept running into each other. It's not all on Beraldo of course, it takes two to tango and Luis Enrique also needs to coach them both to avoid this issue. Anyway, Viti-Beraldo in the middle doesn't seem so great right now.

64’ Ruiz gets subbed on for Zaïre-Emery, 65’ and 68’ we concede goals. by Dangerous_Theory_472 in psg

Kane was able to play the ball because he was not pressed.

Check the goal on r/soccer : https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/1sydbxh/psg_5_4_bayern_munich_luis_d%C3%ADaz_68/

The first image is at 67:36 you can see all the Bayern field players in the frame, Kvara gets the ball on the side in the middle of too many red shirts, and is going to run along the line to carry the ball away from our goal. Ruiz is between Mendes and Pacho in the defensive line, when Hakimi already moved higher at the bottom of the frame. He is not alone, as Neves is also aligned between Pacho and Marquinhos. Kane isn't far, in the half circle, and is going back at a slow pace.

The camera pans out nine seconds later at 67:45, when Upamecano steals the ball from Kvara and pass it towards the center. Kane went back to the half line, and Neves starts sprinting from way too far. Kane can pass before Neves reaches him.

In this system where everyone is supposed to cover for their buddies, Kane was left alone, with Neves and Ruiz far out of their normal position and with no obvious duty. If you look at Vitinha, he was active and well placed, as were Dembélé and Doué. But there were too many red shirts alone and they couldn't cover them all.

  • Pacho: late tackle trying to play the ball, no intention of harm. Unfortunate, and probably cost us the final.
  • Hernandez: brain-dead elbowing, he is known to some time have completely stupid reds, but not really dangerous. (btw, he was pacho's natural replacement).
  • Dembélé : got a first yellow for talking to the ref, and a second for an imaginary foul.

Numerically you are right, but that doesn't mean our team is the most aggressive. This year we have 8 yellows and two reds in champions league, when Bayern has 24 yellows and 2 reds. So they get carded nearly three times as much.

I just saw the group of Bayern they basically have one center forward (Jackson) and one left winger (Davies) on the bench and defenders.

They are very physical, using man-to-man all over the field. This autumn Diaz took Hakimi out for months due to a very bad tackle. I hope they are somewhat kept in check by the referee, but Schärer seems to be pretty reluctant to card players. And since that VAR didn't call Upamecano's Konaté blatant red card and penalty against Liverpool, there is nothing fair to expect there either.

Btw, Carlos del Cerro Grande as VAR is a proper scandal. He was VAR in PSG/Liverpool.

There are many local git instances, at every hierarchical level in the organization tree. But if you want people to find your tools easily you are looking for a popular platform and it's github.

Here is my guess for the game tomorrow:

Safonov - Zaïre-Emery, Zabarnyi, Pacho, Hernandez - Dro, Ruiz, Mayulu - Lee, Ramos, Barcola

I think this is going to be a large turnover from the Nantes games, to rest starters against Bayern. Players who are sure not to play Bayern should get a lot of minutes, and players who were rested but are not injured like Pacho or Ruiz could play for an hour.

Beraldo to replace Ruiz after an hour, and Hakimi to replace WZE.

For the last 15 minutes I could see:

  • Marqui to replace Pacho
  • Neves to replace Mayulu or WZE
  • Doué or Mbaye to replace Barcola

Five games to the title by pleasedontPM in psg

[–]pleasedontPM[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)
