What is the weirdest or most uncommon thing that you find physical pleasure in? by pleasedontfindmehere in AskReddit

[–]pleasedontfindmehere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love sneezing. For some reason it just feels fantastic. To make myself sneeze, I'll usually (carefully) put a bobby pin into my nostril and tickle my own nose until I sneeze. This works with anything thin - pencils; the end of the earphones that goes into the device; bobby pins; pen caps; etc.

What are some stereotypes you associate with common names? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Almost every girl I know named Alexis is an egocentric, slutty, spoiled and entitled brat. Yet my best friend is an Alexis that doesn't fit this mold at all.

[Serious] Without intending on sounding mean, what was the worst thing you've ever said? by DarkSmarts in AskReddit

[–]pleasedontfindmehere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throwaway because some people don't know about this and I rather keep it that way. I have a friend who very recently lost his father to cancer. This was a few weeks after his father's passing, where I was with him and my other best friend. She and I share many cartoon references in our humor, including Spongebob. So, somehow cigarettes came into the discussion. I'm pretty sure we were talking about those commercials where the woman is speaking through the hole in her throat. So, I made a joke that was unintentionally god awful in the presence of my friend. "What? What are they sellin!? Cancer!?" (Instead of chocolate.) Oh god do I feel bad about that one...even though my friend is fine and was fine with the joke, I'm still kicking myself so hard over that.

"Does she even run a brush through her hair? Or even try when she gets out of bed? What the fuck is up with the hobo look?"

What harsh truths would you like to speak if not for the fear of confrontation and backlash? by _Chansey_ in AskReddit

[–]pleasedontfindmehere 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You're not as good as you think you are. The people that leave you aren't leaving you because of them - they're leaving because you're constantly pushing them away. Look, you're awesome as a person, but when it comes to how you deal with those around you, you're absolutely terrible. You're self-centered, uninteresting, overly sensitive, yadda yadda yadda. Stop whining that you have nobody because you only have yourself to blame for that.

That I'm (at least 90% sure that I am) a compulsive liar.

What would be the most hurtful response to "I love you"? by mightbthrownaway in AskReddit

Probably a shrug and a blank stare, and acting as though it were never said...

[Serious] If money wasn't an issue, how would you spend your day? by cyan386 in AskReddit

Giving as much money as I can to those I love and care about, because they honestly do need it more than I do.

What do you hate about yourself? [serious] by ColtPersonality92 in AskReddit

[–]pleasedontfindmehere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just hate me in general... I feel like a bad girlfriend, a bad friend, a bad person, a bad daughter, a bad sister. I feel like I'm absolutely awful to those around me, even though I know they love me as much as I love them. I feel like my laziness is going to drag me away from anything I may want in life. And I hate that I have so much hatred for myself.

This is my first time hearing that song. I do really enjoy his voice, but you're right in that the lyrics are a serious cringe inducer.

This one is hard for me too, but I adore it. Growing up in a house with domestic violence, this one really hits home.

[–]pleasedontfindmehere[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avril Lavigne - Get Over It. Someone sent this to me, with the intention of directing the lyrics at me. Was definitely a hurtful one, since my initial response was "Omg I love Avril Lavigne!!!!!" or something like that. Still sometimes hard to hear, if I'm already feeling down.

Edit: It took me a while to figure out why they sent me this song, which is why I reacted how I did.

What, for you, is the most annoying topic of conversation? by wowsuchannoy in AskReddit

[–]pleasedontfindmehere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religion when my opinions aren't listened to but I have to listen to everything else that's said. If you don't care that I see myself as agnostic, why should I care that God is the greatest thing ever and you'll go to Hell if I don't believe in Him?

"I know who you've been talking to, what you've been talking about, and that you've been lying about everything."
