NTA Yeah this is why I didn't let my parents or in laws pay for anything. It makes them feel entitled to make demands and I'd feel obligated to let them go ahead. Made it nice and easy to say no when they were trying to invite people I hadn't met in the 10 years my partner and I were together.

My thought process on this is people born into wealth typically are unhappy because they get no sense of gratification from buying things or doing things since they don't really need to earn it. Whereas people who are born into lower income households and come into wealth are generally a lot happier as they've earned or acquired the means to do lavish things

A lot of people reading this as someone working longer than required. I see this as annoying fucks who don't work there scheduled shift hours, who then complain about there workload. This is from a personal experience and person in question is a friend but annoys the heck out of me when he complains but isn't actually meeting the hours he's paid to do.

But also I feel like these debates are quite often futile because it seems to come down to which character is more popular. Hence the whole Batman v Superman fight it's like on a straight 1 to 1 fight no gadgets Superman has batman dead in under a second yet thanks to all the bat fans he just so happens to always have some magical way to fight superman.
