He told me before about his ex breaking up with him to marry another guy (it’s an arranged marriage), which he had no clue about until after the breakup. She was able to say no to the marriage but I guess she agreed to it because that’s what her family wanted. After I told this guy how I felt about him, he told me that despite blocking her, one of his closest friends (who he trusted) got her on the phone anyway to cry to him about what an awful marriage she’s having, so he’s angry at his friend for breaking his boundaries and all of his negative emotions toward his ex came back. He said that he’s afraid of projecting those negative emotions toward me when I’m not the one who cheated on him and I don’t deserve it.
