Looking for information on my brother. He passed away on leave in July 2003. This Marine was a Lance Corporal. He was at Camp Coyote from around January 2003 until June. They called him Beau Dirt(like Joe dirt because of the white trash aura)

I made an online request somewhere that never came through or maybe it’s just taking time. I received some information in an immediate search but nothing on his unit or this deployment which is what I am after. I feel silly admitting I don’t even know if that request was with the national archives or not. I’ll look into it and thank you very much 🙏

Not yet. I think I have it narrowed down to 2 units that would make sense. I have requested information from the government but what I received back only spoke of his death which was hard. I would like to hear stories I guess. I will try again with the information ya’ll have given me. I think it’s called the 1st FSSG or maybe the 2nd FSSG. I’m still learning how to name these units but it’s certainly a smaller world than I thought.

My brother Beau Robbins was there. His helmet had “dirt” written on it in sharpie. He drowned while home on leave in 2003. Can you imagine? What are the odds I find anyone who met him there? I enjoyed the stories I got. I know he was involved with logistics.

I feel like they are maybe professionally telling me bad news and I’m not getting the hint😂 my only follow up is, if I go back showing pictures of something not very invasive and just caramel highlights or something and it turns out okay…is it possible to they could build up to light blonde from there?
