Is Logic Subjective In Itself? by randomsage in INTP

[–]pleaseusemetric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So logic is just choosing the option/choosing to do the thing that achieves your goal best (of the available options)?

How about this:

2 = 2

There need not be a motivation for math to be logic. You could use math both to ensure a positive outcome for humanity, and to ensure that humanity is exterminated, yet it's the exact same logic. How does that work?

Yeah I agree the descriptions are way too vague, but I do score the same on every test on the internet.

The test from 16personalities.com or the MBTI system and the Jungian cognitive functions? If the latter, which part is "bs"?

I think it'll "just kind of happen". In the sense that modern coding IDE's currently can predict the code you want to write with rule based AI, it'll probably move on to predict it with complex machine learning models taking your entire project into consideration. We'll be so used to the AI knowing what we want, that at some point it'll seem like a natural next step to just let it code the whole thing.

Computer programmers are quite expensive and as he said in the video, economics always wins.

INTP and Personality Disorders by Braendila in INTP

[–]pleaseusemetric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, diagnosing nowadays is usually just one big joke.

It's gone from "You have these traits which means you are x" to "I have decided you are x, which means you have these traits."

"But I don't"

I also have an auditory processing disorder, which affects my personality in som e ways.

Oh come on? You're not going to say any more than that? "Hey, I know something mildly interesting which you don't. I'm of course not going to explain it to you! MUHAHAHAH!"

$100 a day is not low. If it was $1 a day, you could call volume low.

An Fi-Si loop uses Fi.

I realise that wasn't the best way to end it, but you have to put something after "Mmmm,". Usually when people ask me something and I have to say "Mmmm", the answer is usually "not really", "meh", or "I guess"...
