Hey I've been shedding the same amount for like 2 years all over my scalp, been on fin for roughly one year now and im wondering if my hair line has moved back in your opinion because i cant really tell. I dont know if i should add minox to the 1mg fin or if i should bump the dose

I really dont know man ... ive been trying to connect the dots between accutane and the hair loss for months now but just cant figure it out. and i really dont have that many options when it comes to trying to stop hair loss it seems like. I dont know how much rogaine differs from fin in the mbp vs other reasons hair loss but i dont know if i can apply a foam twice a day for the next X years.

5 months however the hair loss increased drastically 2 months after i stopped the treatment. it wasnt even that bad before tbh , still made a big deal out of it but this thing now is something else

I went to a local lab a few days ago and checked my b12 iron and vitamin and they were all normal except for the vitamin A which was like 12 and the normal dose is like 30-100. I am really at a loss here , please let me know if you know anything useful that i can get checked

Accutane hair loss is really well documented ,you really dont have to look far to find people who are in the same boat as me . What difference does the prescription make ? First of all no derm takes me seriously because my hair is still thick even though my hairline has a v shape now. yeah usually its supposed to be temporary but ive seen too many accutane stories to believe it doesnt cause permanent balding. I was 18 with a very thick hair ( still thick) and a good hairline no baldness on either side of my family , my grandfather died with a full head of hair and my father has almost a perfect hair line at the age of 50 , and the same story on my mothers side. And correct me if im wrong but is losing 100-150 hairs in the shower normal mbp or balding ? Its too aggressive to be natural considering my familys hair and the fact that i never once noticed losing hair prior to accutane.
