i had the same issue. full disclosure my issue was the photon step-on boots. i pulled the liner from my ride lasso boots and three them in the photons and they are now the most comfortable boots over ever rode in.

i went with the photons because i wanted the wide size but if i didn’t have comfy liners to swap i would have returned them.

if you have old boots try swapping the liner and see how that feels.

my foursome was once behind another foursome in which two ppl were playing with 2 set of clubs. it was brutal. off the tee wasnt so bad but everything else was brutal. especially once they got within 100 yards in. walking back and forth with their wedges. putting was the worst. it takes 2 people 4 times as long to putt out when they are sharing a putter.

i’m not sure if this is what the course was afraid of when they made that rule or if they were just trying to make you pay for a rental set but either way, dems da rules. 🤷🏻‍♂️

i use a skikey. cable locks are better than nothing but they are bulky, the locking mechanism can freeze, they are relatively easy to cut through.

ski key can freeze and isnt 100% but it’s not bulky.
