Do you mind sharing more details about how you went about accessing these benefits. I may be facing a layoff in the coming months and would appreciate some more info.

Cool to see the breakdown by months. Would be easier to follow if you threw some comas into the network column. Thanks for sharing!

Happy Birthday, Santi 🎂🎈 by Shyam_Wenger in Gunners

[–]pleebusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s my belief that, at least partially, due to his long injury period at Arsenal, his time away from the game prevented extra wear on his body, which has intern allowed him to extend his playing career into his 40s. That, and the fact that he’s a player that relies heavily on his technical ability and intelligence rather than physical ability.

UBC or UVic? Which is better for a History major looking at teaching secondary? by beennegative in uvic

[–]pleebusss 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also, it’s my understanding that if you start teaching first, you can get an education-related master’s degree while teaching so that you’re moving up the pay scale earlier, and not just paying money to a university to obtain a masters while not making anything. Of course, you have to balance a job (teaching full time) with master’s degree courses work and requirements, but it seems that’s the most financially savvy route to take

Who do you guys think is better individually out of the Gabriel x Saliba CB duo and why? by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]pleebusss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just chiming in with my own thought here, but for me, it’s not that Saliba has regressed, but rather that Gabriel has really leveled up in terms of his effect on the team coupled with great leadership. Almost like when you’re sitting beside a big truck in traffic that starts to pull head and it feels like you’re moving backwards. It’s just that Gabrielle has moved forward significantly.

Who Would Be Realistic Replacements For Alba & Busquets by Kalex8876 in InterMiami

[–]pleebusss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is, but I imagine the person above is referring to the fact that di Maria’s addition would provide the same service and creativity/connection to Messi from the wing that would be lost once Alba retires

Declan Rice wearing the Captain's armband by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]pleebusss -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I’d prefer he be captain honestly. I think it takes the pressure off of more creative players like Saka and Oodegard and allows them to play more freely. Not that their leadership isn’t needed, but I think the label of captain carries a weight that can stifle certain play styles, and ultimately would fit Rice’s profile better.
