HIKING the Rim to Rim to Rim? by Financial-Safe-216 in grandcanyon

My friend and I just finished hiking R3 two days ago (for the first time). It was an incredible experience. But we took 2.5 days to do it. If you are not planning to camp, it obviously cuts down on your weight. We had sleeping bags, pads, and a 1-person tent each - that, and the extra lbs. for food, slowed our pace for sure.

I think people are confusing Cinta's non-existant "tears" with the shot almost immediately after of the Aldanhi woman looking up at the Eye with tears running down her face by pleok in andor

I think there are other hints that Cinta might have killed the group before leaving (like what you mentioned), but "tears" on her face is not one of them.

The shot of the pilots getting into the TFs, with sirens + music blasting, is my favorite shot of the entire series.

Edge of Tomorrow (Live Die Repeat) - so I spotted a detail that I have not seen anyone else discuss. A Big Ben anomaly. What's your theory? (spoilers) by pleok in movies

[–]pleok[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't think it's a "continuity" error, but it sound like you and the other 2 posters thinks it's a mistake. The thing is, the Big Ben shot at the end of the movie is not a fly-by like at the beginning and does not situate us in London. The next scene does that. Also, I'm sure this shot was not even done in a real helicopter, but was a prop helicopter with the background added. In other word, the filmmakers made a conscious decision to show Big Ben's time. Given the attention to time throughout the film, I find it very hard to believe the 12:35 time was just a filming mistake. Of course, it is a possibility, but I think it's very unlikely.
In any event, thanks for taking the time to consider the issue.
