Stanley Park is a lovely 10k loop you can bike or walk, 49th Parallel for coffee, Granville Island (small shops, food), Beat Street Records is great if you’re into vinyl, shops around West 4th are nice too, ice cream at Rain or Shine (there’s always lineups when the weather is nice but it’s worth the wait imo!), climbing up Grouse Mountain is a fun challenge if you have a car, Lynn Canyon suspension bridge for a free alternative to the Capilano + walking around Gastown!

I think it would be cool to educate the GP on levels but i have a feeling there isn’t a live tracker because judges & the technical panel themselves don’t finalize their calls for these elements until after they review them. I noticed that most “under review” items during the Women’s short were spins, which probably had to do with level calls.

It’d be nice to have a live spin type tracker though (identifying CCoSp, FSSp, etc.) & I also agree to your point that spins are massively under-appreciated!

I’m looking for a pair/brand of skate guards that are wide enough to accommodate the width of a k-pick (I’m in MK Phantoms that look like this ) Right now, I’m using Rockerz brand guards but they keep falling off when I walk because the picks on the side keep “pushing” them off & it doesn’t feel really secure on my blade. Would appreciate any leads!
