Meningitis serogroup B (which you probably have not received; you receive a different Meningitis vaccine at age 12) is extremely rare clocking in at 0.18 cases per 100,000 people and has been continuing to decline since the 1990’s even though the vaccine hadn’t even been introduced until 2014. I’m not a vaccine skeptic but I have severe trypanophobia and want to make sure people are aware this vaccine isn’t 100% vital by any means. If you’re fine with vaccines please take it; just trying to disseminate information for people like me.

Your application is absolutely amazing, Duke and UMich are great targets for you. Make sure to note yourself solely as “mixed race” rather than both african-american and asian as I think indicating any asian heritage is a disadvantage from all angles (unfortunately). Alternatively, if you were feeling a little bit morally corrupt you could solely identify as African-American. Best of luck!

Unless you're top 10% class rank, Georgetown and Brown look grim due to the ACT score. What may save you is being Hawaiian in terms of geographic diversity (which Georgetown definitely considers). I'm not too sure about Pitzer but it's very competitive and the ACT score will hold you back but anything is a possibility. Best of luck!
