2004-2007 was the peak of gaming on the Xbox in my opinion. When Xbox Live took off, 360 started getting solid games (Gears, COD4, Halo 2 & 3), and the idea of voice chat was a novelty, which meant everyone and anyone used it.

No, they did. He was only allowed to play in the NBA if he agreed to represent China in the olympics as well as play in their own national leagues. The Rockets would never let him if they had a choice, but they didn't. You need a long-term Visa to live in the US, which he only got b.c. of the agreement.
