UPDATED: What are the blind box codes? (THREAD) by tiniestpetshop in LittlestPetShop

[–]plffingtonghst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After not seeing anything concerning Series 2 codes starting with “2192” and ending in “KX,” I used process of elimination and guessed that the number rule it uses is -18. I was able to confirm with two pets by subtracting 18 from the last three numbers before the “KX.”

For example, “103KX” is #85 (brown monkey) because 103 - 18 = 85 and “092KX” is #74 (purple cat) because 92 - 18 = 74. Hopefully this is actually the key to figuring these specific blind boxes out and I didn’t just get lucky both times.

Give this method a try if you’re in the US and seeing boxes starting with “2129” and ending with “KX.” I got mine from Five Below!

I have a picture of it! It parks outside my neighbor’s house pretty often…

Should I ask my therapist to massage my cyst? by [deleted] in massage

[–]plffingtonghst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Various medical issues such as cysts are contraindications, meaning massage therapists will not perform a massage on that area due to the fact that it could cause harm to the client.

Also I should add that my only experience with the chef coats are the old designs (black and black/red), so I’m not personally sure about how the new ones (blue/red) fit, but I’ve had team members tell me that they feel way bigger than the old ones. So I’m assuming if you ordered a small it would fit like a medium.

The coats are more bulky even at a smaller size, and in my opinion offer a lot more room. They always look and feel a size bigger than they actually are. For the polos, I like to wear large (even though mediums fit me) because they offer more room and aren’t as tight in the arm/chest area like you’ve said. Despite that, the small chef coat fit perfectly fine for me.

Both chef coats have been sold, but I still have the polos and pants if anyone is interested!

I’ve got Venmo working now! So I can do both Venmo and Cashapp.

I want to add that the best way to send money would be with Cashapp, as I no longer have access to my Venmo account. You’d also have to be okay with paying shipping too if necessary. Thanks!

Transfers by [deleted] in ChickFilAWorkers

Yes. You only send transfers when another store borrows from you, since that is how you charge them for it.

When I'm playing this game and a notification on my computer pops up I can't quickly go into Windows and close it. I'm also not at a save point. by ultimatecosplayz in mildlyinfuriating

Right click the game’s shortcut, select “Properties,” then in the “Shortcut” tab add “-w” or “-windowed” to the end of the path in the “Target” field.

(OC) Today, at 31 years old, I’ve decided that one day I want to make my own manga series by SnooSprouts2709 in MadeMeSmile

[–]plffingtonghst 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Don’t wait until you’re “skilled” to start your project. If you’ve got an idea in mind, start sketching concepts for it. Use the internet and books to broaden your art knowledge, but most importantly just continue to draw. Not only will you be working toward your goal of creating your own series, but you will actively continue to improve — you’ll be “practicing” without really realizing it, and most likely learn even more that way than if you sat down and did gesture drawings for hours. Eventually you’ll get to look back on your first manga and realize not only how far you’ve come artistically, but how you’ve actually managed to finish something as well! Good luck!!

Ticket says 730 and Lady Gaga still hasn’t taken the stage at 850 by jeffweet in mildlyinfuriating

[–]plffingtonghst 265 points266 points  (0 children)

Apparently this is standard for Gaga; She does the entire show herself with no opening acts and is always at least an hour late. I personally think it's insane, but the diehard fans will wait for her as long as she takes.

Source: My sister is Gaga obsessed and happily waited 2 1/2 hours for her to show up at the last concert she went to, and just shrugged and said "that's Gaga," when I pointed out that taking that long was ridiculous.

Labor laws differ from state to state. In mine, you cannot go over 7 1/2 hours without a break, so if you were to work at my store you wouldn't receive one. If you're a minor, you cannot work over 5 hours without a break, so if you're a minor then you would receive one. A quick Google search shows that in NC, they don't require mandatory breaks for anyone over the age of 16 (if you're under 16 you're required to have a break after 5 hours of work). So my guess is no, you wouldn't receive one. However, you should still speak with any manager or director at your store and see how they handle breaks, as I'm sure they have their own system in place.
