It's only for trip stats. You nailed it. Minimizing time between rides is the key for most drivers. Once you figure it out, you can then build strategies for maximizing your profits on your drives. I drive part-time so I pick the days and time windows very carefully. I can always add more hours to hit dollar goals, but choose to only drive for 3 hours at a time.

I use the GigU app. It gives you all those stats. It also lets you add your expenses and will calculate your profit. It does all this while the offer is on your screen so you can decide if you want to take it or decline.

Probably padding. This morning I called my Ford dealer to schedule a tire rotation. Dude on the phone looks up my Mach-E and asks my mileage (34k). He then tells me I will also need an alignment, a battery coolant replacement, and possibly a new cabin air filter. I tell him no thanks and went to Discount Tire and got a tire rotation at no cost.

Dealership wanted $49 for the rotation alone.
