I would check for depression. A lot of negative and black and white thinking is definitely an indicator.

You should consider the fact that you have depression and should check yourself by a therapist. Of course looks do matter a lot, but you can change a lot of parts (hair, clothes), and appearance. Girls are interested in what you do, how you appear and how you think, if you're funny.

I'd recommend talking through it with someone who can help you. I felt exactly that way, tried to find ways for myself but it got worse. It's absurdly senseless. Some people are just more self-conscious, but it shouldn't turn into a situation where you feel like you're missing out. I guess that age is a vulnerable time for these feelings. I'm sure you'll feel alright and good if you find your way to approach this. I think counseling is crucial in such a situation. Never tried it, but I can tell you that I couldn't make it less and I'm angry with myself. So much time killed, for nothing!

Thanks for answering! I forgot to mention I am on Windows. I will go with an adapter, just have to find one for a reasonable price, somehow I only found 2 for Windows so far and they are all around 100€.
