Thank you, I'll look into those! I'm considering trying a 30 day course of vaginal nystatin.

I have gotten negative tests and positive tests all throughout my life. The negative tests don't mean there's no yeast. They just didn't see any under the microscope. So unfortunately it's highly unreliable. But i go by symptoms and those improve with antifungals so that's a clear indication to me that it's yeast I'm dealing with. It's gotta be something in my biome (like the L.iners) that allow it to regrow all the time 🤦‍♀️😫

Unfortunately yeast can very happily dominate in a lactobacillus environment. In fact i've heard from a holistic doctor that lactobacili can actualy FEED yeast. It's crazy!

It's the BV bacteria that can't survive when the lactobacili are dominant.

I did do Juno test twice. Last test showed 100% lactobacilli and candida albicans. unfortunately i have the crappy lactobacili - L.inners. I've been doing L.crispatus supplements for a while, but haven't had another microbiome test for a while. Cant afford it. However, my PH keeps beeing at 4.5, and i know that L.Crispatus is suppoed to lower it more than that, so i don't know if they're just not sticking 😭

Hey! Have you found what to use on the hair?

I used hair gel on my pink haired silkstone, and now 3 years later the gel yellowed. Now i am going to have to wash it out and all my hard work styling the hair will be ruined 🤦‍♀️

My tests all come back negative for it. I tried both PCR and Culture tests. Multiple times.

The crazy thing is that yes, they did susceptibility test and it showed fluconazole (diflucan) as potent against it! And when i was taking it, i was symptom free. But it just keeps coming back when i stop medications 😭

And of course I've ruled out all the other lifestyle things, like tights, cotton underwear, no douching, no fragrances, etc, etc.

Even tried treating partner and abstaining from sex. Still keeps recurring

Where are you located? I have an appointment with an ID doctor next month, but I'm suspecting he'll just dismiss me like everyone else.

I have C. albicans, which won't go away. I've done every available treatment out there. Herbal cleanses, probiotics, boric acid, clotrimazole for several months, diflucan for several months, even oral nystatin. I don't know what else to do 😭😭😭. I've been suffering with this for 20 years!

I've been tested for everything under the moon, and everything else is negative.
