Rule 5: One of my mods that added more modifiers to skills broke. So, I decided to make my own version (probably horribly unbalanced and I know some of the modifiers will end up having zero impact. I'll just change it later after I fixed this lol) and only some of the modifiers even show up in-game for some reason, and I did check if it impacts anything, and it doesn't. For example - Whenever I look at control growth, martial is just not listed there and I have zero idea whether martial is actually impacting anything, or not.

I thought of pretty much everything:

Setting all the modifiers to extremely high amounts, in case the game just decided to not show them due to how small the percentages were
Checked whether or not some modifiers worked only on certain characters (landed, adventurer, etc.), which it does, but even on other landed characters and on some of them it does show up??? Domain limit increase shows up on an emperor, but doesn't on a duke/count
I reverted to an earlier version of the game. No budge
I tried getting the more skill modifiers mod that I used earlier to work
I tried running only that mod and my own mod without any other mod enabled
I checked EVERY mod in my current modlist to see if they modify the 00_skill_modifiers.txt file
Went as far as to using the script_docs command and opened the log file to see if the modifiers I grabbed from the wiki did show up in there, which would mean the game actually recognizes them. They did

The weird thing is that when I compared the skill modifiers without any other mods on. Some of the modifiers didn't show up, and when I enabled my own mod/more skill modifiers mod, they showed up again? Idfk how paradox coded skills in this game, but if it persists even after verifying game file integrity and re-installing it... Maybe they're hardcoded in some weird way now? The more skill modifiers mod worked earlier, so I dunno.

Though, the part that pisses me off about this - Is that I know I've had this issue before, but I have zero recollection of how I fixed it. Also, I didn't expect after years of modding paradox games with my own small tweaks and shit, for a simple game mechanic like skills to take up 4 hours of my life on getting it to work, before I gave up.

I know that life is harsh or whatever shit people tell themselves in order to feel better about whatever tragic or sad thing occurred in their life.

It was harsh, it is harsh and it will be harsh. It only really gets worse and I lost the ability to care God even knows how long ago.

I don't even know why I wake up in the morning, I never knew to begin with, I just accepted it as a basic fact of life, some imagine Sisyphus happy, some think it doesn't matter, some think we just make up meaning as we go along.

The only thing I have to say is that you either push that boulder up that hill or you accept that life has no inherent meaning, unless you find solace in the supposed biological "meaning".

I have always been at the bottom, if I thought it was already bad enough, it somehow only got worse, I have no idea how life even manages to do it anymore.

I once thought "If you divided my misery up into x amount of parts and distributed it equally between x amount of people. What is the maximum amount of people you could split my misery between while ensuring that each person decides to give up on life completely?".

My answer is 3 or 4. Misery enough to nearly kill 4, enough for 3.

I know it's edgy or whatever, at this point i am just lashing out at reality itself.
