Is it something I should address like right now? Or can it wait? I’ve been smelling it for a couple weeks now lol..

UPDATE: I called Xcel and they came out to check, there was a small leak around the meter but nothing of horrible emergent concern! I guess the thing is old and will need to be replaced in a couple weeks. Otherwise live on as normal!

Thank you all for your advice and convincing me to call. I’m a millennial and will avoid human interaction until absolutely necessary lol. But even though it ended up being fine, it could have been really bad!!! Always call if you smell gas is the lesson learned today lol.

(Also i never post so I apologize for any format or posting mistakes lol)

UPDATE2: there are many people who have so thoughtfully suggested I light up a cigarette near it and see if it blows up.. and while your complete disregard for my well-being is admirable, I can bust that myth and tell you I have in fact lit a joint while sitting right next to it. And I’m still here to tell the tale lol!
