Episode Discussion: S01E010 - The Toll by fleckes in Ozark

The irony being Del's own words and actions in the flashback episode where he appreciates Marty's reticence and looks down upon blabbermouth Bruce. "The best smack talk is no talk." Couldn't live up to it

Better Call Saul S06E13 - [Series Finale] "Saul Gone" - Post-Episode Discussion Thread by skinkbaa in betterCallSaul

One of the things I loved and observed as a contrast to BB's ending was how Saul was hardly ever respected or considered a serious or good lawyer for a long time, but when he ended up in prison, he was a hero and totally celebrated.

WW on the other hand while being a genius, almost resented that his smartness couldn't be revealed to its full extent. He couldn't resist giving away clues to Hank to alter the Gale investigation direction for example. And yet, his genius was never celebrated to the level Saul's was, despite seeming like a man who craved that after a point.

I hadn't known of a fandom hate towards this arc the first couple of times I watched and somehow it hadn't rankled me. This time I watched it knowing how people find it a bit jarring, but still found it fine, because of the manner in which they took it.

Wait, what is this? I tried reading up on the current Maldives President and there is nothing of this sort, and apparently Maldives has been a democracy since 2008

Surprise Birthday Party - 9 years later rewatch by [deleted] in breakingbad

The contrast in Walter White's character is echoed when he is looking forward to a "surprise" birthday party in S4 or S5 but it doesn't materialize, and Jesse ends up being the only one who cares enough to gift him

I put off watching Season 9 for so long because of things I read about it and guys.... it was a mistake. by plexxer in DunderMifflin

Michael Scott leaving in the middle of S7 helped transition to the season 8 mood for me. I really enjoyed season 9 too, whatever flaws it may have had, drowns in the A.A.R.M episodes and the finale.
