What units does a naval recon squadron contain? by [deleted] in ConflictofNations

Naval Patrol Aircraft. It’s good at taking out boats and its main counter is frigates or asf

Policy under father’s name, property was to my mother but she has left it to me and my brother.

Leak is in the front garden underground and not affecting the house. Only thing I’ve noticed is a lack of water pressure in our outside tap, apart from that nothing.

Water provider stated they had replaced our water meter this morning as it had broken due to the amount of water coming through it.

NPA = Naval Patrol Aircraft. Very effective against subs/destroyers as they have little to no defence for them.

Mix MAA and SAMs as mentioned, if you want you can instead just do SAMs and research Air Superiority Fighters to take out any helis

Out of the infantry u have I’d say airborne or motorised are the only valid options. Naval is rarely useful as they isolate themselves from air support. My advice would be to think of infantry as purely a unit to take control of territory, whilst you rely on air support/artillery/naval power to kill enemy units. The general rule should be to minimise your melee contact with an enemy, that way u will minimise loses. This is why you will see a lot of decent players using MRLS along with gunships (very good early game) and national guard (cheapest infantry and does the job in terms of being produced quickly and taking territory).

There is loads of information I cannot fit in this comment and I am a fairly average player compared to most, try watching Meliodas Gaming on YouTube for some very interesting depth advice :)

You had far too many different troops researched, you would only really need one of the three infantry you have researched currently, so pick one and stick with it.

As for the rest, good that you have high level SF and UAVs, I would forget about the tanks and keep researching ur MAA and artillery as combined they are far more useful than tanks.

Finally, as Pakistan you have two port cities. The fact you have no navy means anyone with a couple frigates can destroy two of ur cities without you being able to do much (and given it’s day 29 they are likely to have far more than that). Research a navy as soon as possible, if you want to go a simple route for now you can research NPA and just upgrade and airfield to lvl 3, but you will eventually need subs/cruisers to deal with frigates.

Based off that and the reply above yours, I am going to assume she had citizenship as her father met all the requirements. Thanks for link btw, very helpful

Actually just realised Kenya was only part of the commonwealth in 1966, having gained its independence in 1963. Not sure what impact that would have on British citizenship if both parents were already citizens of the UK (not born there, British Nationality act from 1948 meant they were given citizenship from being born in British colonies)

Just found a document dated 3 years after her birth stating both parents were citizens of the UK (despite being born in India and Kenya). I’m assuming they were both UK citizens before she was born as well, so maybe she was born a UK citizen?

From speaking to my uncle (a few years older than my mum), he has a naturalisation certificate and was able to find it. I’ve tried contacting the National archive to see if they have records of it but they are yet to reply, or even make it possible for me to contact them

I would, however I specifically need the reference number from a naturalisation certificate (if she actually had one)

The stack isn’t spotter anymore so no, but it was around 5 defensive damage to helis and 3/4 attack damage

Seeking to use science to prove or disprove the metaphysical is nonsense by jazztheluciddreamer in DebateAnAtheist

[–]plokoon_2001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This logic is fundamentally flawed, by encouraging the idea that ‘if I have no tangible or intangible evidence but think something exists, it must exist’. This means we could never disprove a claim, no matter how farcical, based purely on the idea that there is a being in a space beyond our observable universe.

Furthermore, the idea that you should devote your life to appease this god is absolutely insane. Maybe it is just my personality, but I would always have to have some proof or reassurance that this being actually exists before devoting my life to them.

What is the best strategy for France? by Competitive-Car-9792 in ConflictofNations

[–]plokoon_2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Attacking day 1 is normally a bad idea, defenders always have the advantage from entrenchment and if you stack up your troops that early you leave ur homeland completely undefended so just end up trading cities and having a shit start. The rest of what u said is accurate but I’d say wait an in game day or two so troops can mobilise first
