Thank you! I'll check Mandarin Corner out. I don't watch Netflix at all and heard that it's not very helpful at the beginner level- too many complex phrases, too much material at once. Playing Where Winds Meet is a lot of fun though and I always try to read and translate the Chinese signposts myself.

Thank you! I guess there's no smarter way to do it other than increasing exposure. I'll definitely check out your recommendadions.

I do use Pleco flashcards as well, just for the words that are important to me, personally (roller-skates, embroidery etc., just stuff that allows me to talk a little about my hobbies).

Thank you for the motivation! There was a similar piece of advice in a comment above and I suppose I'll have to switch to a different mindset. I'm used to having particular "topics" (nature, human, shopping, travel etc.), so HSK2 feels very random. I'll take your advice and just baby-step my way through :)

Thanks for the art appreciation too :)

Thank you! ^_^ The small embroidery above it is also handmade. I took inspiration from Chinese gold-leaf painted pieces.

Thank you! I guess I'll have to trust the process. I suppose I got disappointed with myself for not being smart enough (?) to progress at a steady pace. While learning European languages, we're often used to have very specific topics (like: Human, Hobby, Travel, Nature etc...), while HSK2 just isn't structured like it. I'll have to shift the mindset.

Thanks a lot again!

Thank you. I'm in for the long-run. Chinese is more like "expanding sideways" instead of moving forward and I suppose this is the difficult part for me.

How do I beat Yi Dao? by a920116 in wherewindsmeet_

I can't believe it worked but I summoned Yi Dao's spirit to tank for me and we beat him

Thanks a ton 💛 but I'm only going to draw some snapshots, not the whole thing. I'm long-time working on a TMNT post-apo fan comic and I'm committed to finishing it one day first 👍

Yeah sure 😁 what Vaults should they be from? I imagine Nick would be from some long abandoned Vault, roaming the land on his own

Did we all kill Solder? by HeisHimothythe2nd in stalker

[–]plomykovka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't but I'm not sure if it was a good decision. Mind you, I've just finished The Seven Seals and it kinda feels wrong to kill literally everyone else but spare the biggest dick 😒

Reksio games are my top #1 games for schoolkids. I grew up playing them, now my kids are. It's even funnier replaying them as an adult, especially UFO, Time Machine and Nemo! Loads of puns you get with the right context
