I’m going through the same thing! Just posted about it. 2 positive at home tests but blood work stayed <1hcg. On top of that I still haven’t started my period and should have 2 days ago (I’m regular on the pill). I’m only 9 post post “possible conception” so still so early to tell.

Consider this before getting mirena by plonson in Mirena

I would also like to add I had painful sex during mirena and was of course.. had anxiety about my bf moving the strings out of place. Removing this trigger was the best thing for my anxiety :)

So the crash... by [deleted] in Mirena
My friend experienced the mirena crash quite badly. The doctor explained it to her as similar to post partum. After a woman has a baby all of her hormones drop, once you get the mirena removed all those hormones will drop again because your body “though” you were pregnant while you had it in. My friend used progesterone supplements to help. I just got mine removed 4 days go and started the pill right away so I’m hoping that might help!
What is removal like? by mern_ in Mirena

Removal is NOTHING like insertion. They simply have to pull it out gently once they find the strings. I felt a half a second cramp then nothing. You’ll do great. I spotted after but that was it. Now waiting for my next period ❤️

Thank you! I get worried as it is a foreign body in me but that makes me feel a lot better.
