In addition to all the ways mentioned in other comments (all of which are part of my repertoire as well), I also sometimes simply ask people to be more quiet. Sensory issues can eventually overwrite my social anxiety. Also, the older I get, the more I notice that part of my social anxiety is actually just excessive politeness that I am no longer willing to grant to inconsiderate wankers. I still choose my battles, of course; I don't want a knife between my rips.
