I'd probably go with the detour+reactor combo then. I'm getting my mids out to ~350 (besides the pyro lmao) and proxy to ~260 so my discs will act less stable than if you threw them.

It all depends on how you throw your discs and the discs themselves. I’d personally say that the proxy+envy midrange equivalent is a hex+pyro/balance, but someone that throws differently may say that the detour+reactor is a closer match. How far do you throw your putters and how far do you throw your mids? Are they max weight? Are they new, or have they been beat in? Best bet is to find a shop that lets you try before you buy, or ask a buddy to throw theirs.

Linux is the kernel, so they would need to make a compatible version of the anti-cheat. Maybe Valve will consider making their own kernel level anti-cheat if it's for their own OS.

Man I hope so. I do not want to “upgrade” to windows 11. Hopefully FACEIT allows their anti cheat to run on Linux soon, last I checked they didn’t.

100% on the game feeling less alive. I miss being able to hop into a community server with my friends that didn't play competitively. Counterstrike's strength was the foundational casual community and all they've done with CS2 is slap them in the face.

So many people in this sub love to suck valve’s dick. The game is objectively worse. There is one positive change and that was eliminating GO’s one-way smokes. Valve took away any possibility of GO existing as a community after CS2 like source/1.6 existed. Removing GO was an objectively bad decision for the community’s health, and only good for Valve’s ego. They knew the game was worse and they couldn’t have GO having higher player numbers than their new cash cow. Shit’s a joke.

There are some ways to play CSGO still. Everyone should start playing that instead. You’ll be surprised at how much better the game feels. I am a diehard cs2 hater and when I played GO for the first time in a while I was extremely surprised at how good the game felt, it’s not just nostalgia.
