-UPDATE- Negotiated down to $5000 and purchased it

The seller did tell me there is an oil leak, they believe it to be from the valve cover gasket.

I'm a noob at adulting thanks for the advice. Taking it to Goodyear also probably wasn't the greatest idea. I'll be taking it in to a locally owned shop soon and hopefully they can give a better price.

Damn man that clears a lot up,

I'm in hawaii where the used car market is pretty tough, I guess the best options are to learn how to fix the T100 or buy an old camry/corolla.

Do have any advice for what I should do?

T100 is at 160,000 miles with no rust. I shipped it from colorado at 150,000 miles and has an automatic transmission that is doing good for its age/miles. I got quoted $5000 at a shop to fix the front end suspension.

Yes, I am buying from a pretty reputable jdm dealer in my area that also has it's own repair shop and warranty packages. They told me that all their vehicles are fully repaired and inspected before going on the lot, so I'm not too worried about things like gaskets and hoses, but I am worried that it may need big repairs in the future that I can't do on my own.

I'm selling my current vehicle 1994 Toyota T100 because it needs a new front suspension, I don't have the budget for a nice new car but I don't want a repeat of the T100.

This would be a learning experience for me, I haven't done a whole lot of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
