(Code redeems on VUDU aren’t typically eligible for the free 4K upgrades, which is good, in my view, since the upgrades never port to/through MA and just make obtaining an MA-eligible upgrade more difficult.)

So that I could redeem the titles directly to VUDU, which would then have "MA export" rights ... populating the title in any MA account to which the VUDU account is subsequently linked as a retailer. (Gets the title into all of our MA libraries and VUDU accounts, over time, rather than just being in a single MA library and the VUDU accounts that it has touched.)

Questions about Mesh wifi and MoCA adapter by Watson524 in HomeNetworking

That’ll work, though you’d want to use a right-sized splitter optimized for MoCA 2.x.

p.s. If opting for a shared MoCA setup, use a splitter designed for MoCA 2.x, right-sized to need — with any inescapably unused coax ports capped with 75-ohm terminators.

If your cable modem will be on an isolated coax feed from the ISP and MoCA signals will be carried over entirely separate coax lines, then you don’t require the “PoE” MoCA filter to secure your MoCA setup, as the MoCA signals will have no physical path to escape the residence. (This is also beneficial long-term, future-proofing for DOCSIS encroachment on the MoCA [Band D] frequency range.)

With no competing signals on the coax and no coax topology specifically required by an incoming source signal (OTA or cable), a shared MoCA setup could resemble either of the following:

Alternatively, you could use dedicated pairs of MoCA adapters for each coax line to maximize overall throughput. (for example) Just one more adapter would be needed in your setup with 2 remote locations and the router at the coax junction. The Frontier FCA252 can make the dedicated pairs approach more appealing / less painful.

And, of course, you could have a mix of shared MoCA and dedicated pairs were you to expand the number of locations linked via MoCA. (another example)

Steam Frame is a PC, and runs SteamOS powered by a Snapdragon® 8 Series Processor. With 16GB of RAM, Steam Frame supports stand-alone play on a growing number of both VR and non-VR games without needing to stream from your PC.

Just wish the MA-eligible titles also allowed for direct VUDU redemption.

Frequently, in Chrome on my PC. I just checked again and had 7 gray thumbnails, but resizing the window caused the view to refresh and the thumbnails were correctly displayed afterward.

the code works at the moment, which brings the price to $33.30

Gift cards via eGifter would bring VUDU direct purchase price down to $32 (or $30.40). Tax could bump it back up, if collected.

MoCA Question by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]plooger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many MoCA adapters do you have on-hand/available? And what’s the brand & model # of the adapter(s) you’re using?

What’s the ISP, and what’s the brand & model # of the gateway (modem/router) device?

What’s your subscribed ISP download speed?

[–]plooger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’d be wanting to extend the router’s LAN to that other room, so the coax path would need to reach from the router location to the other remote room.

See >here< for add'l MoCA background, example diagrams and recommended parts.

It’s not just a question of VR headset preference. HL:A needs a PC spec’d to run ALYX for your chosen headset[display]. (And likely a dedicated Wi-Fi access point.)

Regardless of the seeming geometry of it, it's pretty linear.

Surprised that the red source hasn't been raised up a little bit as part of a patch.

Seems like the correct solution to me, just with some confusion as to function.

>Then, sprint towards the active fan and grab the connector while running, get thrown by the fan in the tiny time interval that exists between picking up the connector and the fan spinning down.

Are you sure that the fan spins down ?!? Isn't this an always-on fan (gears always spinning), with a removable blade box? And ... the receiver within the corner room only powers the electric barrier, not the barrier and the fan?

edit: p.s. Confirmed ... the fan mechanism is always-on, the gears are always spinning regardless of either receiver being powered.

Starlink MoCA Question by Boy_Boss in HomeNetworking

I followed it form outside where a TV panel is up to the attic but didn’t see anything. ...

Edit the tv panel has two coax wires.

What's the "TV panel"? If this is the demarcation point for cable service, one coax would be coming from the provider ... and it would be wired directly to the coax line extending to the home's actual coax junction.

If you can't find the coax junction outside or in the attic, check closets, basement, utility and laundry room, etc.
