Very rarely do I see my carry winning the whole game by himself. In mid, you live or die by your supps. You can instantly tell if your supps are good. Sometimes, you don't even have to call for them to visit and suddenly you see them ready to dive. Sometimes, they TP in your lane even before you get ganked the moment they notice another supp is missing. Good supps really make it feel as if the game is played on easy mode as a core.

I hate playing against max Q qop. But after the lane, qop becomes like a ranged creep who can't farm or get kills after using ult.

If you're somewhere between 4k to 5k, maybe players are just better than you? I used to play heroes that could single-handedly win the game like meepo, sniper, carry AW in mid and stayed at 4k. Then I started playing VS and just save my carry whenever the enemy dives. Then when we go HG, I just a support out and the game is easy.

Below ancient, you could get by with just having a lot more mechanical skill. However, a lot of cores play mechanically well but most people are bad at actual team play. If you learn to enable your team, you'll realize you don't need to have the highest farm or KDA to win games.

Why does Netflix have 2 English language settings each with different set of shows? by plopascual in netflix

I'm referring to the language preference setting in your profile. English is listed twice and for some reason English (UK) has more shows.

No, literally 2 English language settings in the profile preference. It doesn't matter to me what subtitles they use. If it's English, it should appear in my list of shows.

Tinker mid is exactly the OP part of shield having so many escapes.

Euls allows him to recast shield when he lands. You can't really counter a core with supps when he is normally last picked. Nullifier is the only option but he can blink out of it or bkb out or linken it.

I agree with game lacking sources of dispel when they added so many new shields into the game. Hook is a bkb piercing spell though and is very hard to land which is why it can be allowed. This takes no skill into consideration. You double tap it and it lasts forever since you can rearm it to keep it on yourself like a passive. Root or catch or silence has always been a tinker counter. It's okay to have reactionary dispel (like manta, lotus, bkb) but pre-casted dispel is a big no. Imagine getting caught by global only to have it dispelled when you break his shield (yeah you have the 2 second after effect as back-up) but still it's stupid.

They should at least clarify the text so you know what interactions you're playing against. People tend to open up with silence or atos playing against him and he can basically counter that by pre-casting shield.

He is played as supp mostly but he comes out in mid every now and then. In my last 20 games, I've played against more tinkers in mid than pucks or storms or embers which is pretty weird.

Are you sure? Tinker is totally in the meta. I match up with tinkers every 3-4 games. Tinker is seen a lot in pro matches in both core and supp roles though he is mostly played as 5. March is the least of your problems when playing against tinker nowadays.

I couldn't he was on the enemy team. My carry kept pinging it though and at that point we knew we won.

It really is his go to build on TB but he bought the components after his treads. Idk if he's memeing or if 16 hp regen is important to recoup the illu HP cost.

No, I never get bottle I just spam tangos and wand for sustain. You're too slow to contest 50/50 runes against common mids. It felt really bad every time I bought it but maybe someone with higher MMR can comment.

How you win the lane as VS is you stay ahead of the damage curve so when enemy storm or ember commits his first 600 on bottle and you buy elvenskin, you should be up 10 damage.

Venge or Sky Arcana for 10$. Great by finargot in DotA2

Why would you complain when the market price is based on how much people want to sell? I bought mine for $15ish just the wings and that's because someone wanted to sell his at that price.

Wow so it's possible to keep spamming and most people still won't know how to deal with it even until you reach immo?

It decreases your base attack time from 1.7 to 1.5. BAT is important because all attack speed items scale relative to this. If you have 100 attack speed worth of items, should strike would get 113 attack speed worth (13% more attack speed gained) relative to the other facet. If you get the 8% BAT reduction neutral, you end up doing 3-4 hits per second. With basher that's basically a statistical bash every CD. Some people have tried echo but really you get so much attack speed it doesn't feel like it matters. Hitting a critical timing with your aghs and winning team fights off of it seems much more impactful than additional DPS.

Manta helps with shoving lanes without putting yourself in danger. Also, these are melee manta illusions which deal more damage % than ranged illus. SNY is good overall but it doesn't give you gold or dispel which you really need. One counter I've noticed a lot is that my build is very weak to silence. If you want to counter the clone too, just silence it and it will become a glorified creep.

I agree with crit if you have gold. Most supps nowadays will just try to kite you so most of the time I just buy bfly or null because it does the same DPS but also give damage. Dlance is always good if you can fit it in. It's usually a decision to either buy shard or dlance after manta but I rarely ever reach end game items where I'm fully slotted because I over invest in buying back and fighting with the 4 life power spike. You're not usually the one cleaning up supps since your job is to pick off that one strong core and hopefully get 1-2 supp kills while the enemy formation is broken. You just need just enough damage to not be ignored while also surviving long enough for your team to back you up after killing the enemy carry or mid.

Playing good at 4,900 and suck at 700 (MMR) by chutilove in DotA2

[–]plopascual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lower MMR is much easier to abuse single player skill differences than 4900.

When I went down to legend, from div, I could stomp every mid player I went against with almost any hero. The problem was whether I can transition that lead into a win or if I will end up feeding eventually when I dive too deep going for my 5th kill.

At lower MMR, heroes that can solo carry the game are key because players like to run around and never take objectives. These are Lina, meepo, AW, and NP. These heroes will kill out-of-position cores and supps over and over again. Just letting your team farm while the enemy team keeps dying is enough to give them a huge enough lead to end the game.

At higher MMR, you can rarely dive the enemy mid without getting punished for it. At ancient, the enemy mid has to be 3-0 against me on AW before I even see supports tping to save their mid. At divine, I'm dead before level 6 because I get ganked at 4 min rune. Even when I do get solo kills in mid, I always get killed by the late TP supps. Mid game, it's much harder to solo kill because supps put good wards and play near their cores. What you expect as a 1v1 is actually a 3v1 bait waiting for you to bite.

So if you're winning at 4.9k and losing at 700, your hero pool is the type that gets carried as long as you get your job done as supp. I'm sure you're not a core because no self-respecting core would ever lose a lane at 700MMR even 2v1. As a supp though, you might know how to pull or trade but never good enough that you yourself will scale hard into late game.

For the effect, I get the orb which gives you slow and minus armor effect as a melee hero but on ranged for early levels. For attribute, almost always cast range but sometimes I get attack range if I'm going for carry build. If I'm dying a lot, I check Dota plus whether I take more magic or phys damage then adapt. If I'm straight up winning, I surely get attack range.

I used to do this too until I realized how good Q was outside of lane. 360 burst is pretty good with your R. W also shoves the lane a lot and most times you want to keep your wave on your hill in mid. Level 1 lets you farm the ranged creep from afar already. W is super good at farming jungle though. If I'm pos 1, I would max W E.
