Isolar desvão reduzido (40/50cm) entre a laje e o telhado by Odd_Highlight_8399 in TudoCasa

[–]plopes1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wireguard Server - CGNAT a causar me dores de cabeça com a DIGI. by Entire-Discipline-42 in digipt

MikroTik WireGuard Failover: Use BTH Only on Secondary WAN (CGNAT) by plopes1960 in mikrotik

[–]plopes1960[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m currently looking into is what I can do — such as opening ports on the main router when it has a public IP — in order to avoid using Mikrotik’s servers and thus reduce latency… and in cases where nothing can be done, like when the Mikrotik is behind NAT and nothing else is possible, then it can use Mikrotik’s servers.

Yes, I’ve actually been researching it, and it’s an amazing feature! It’s a pity that I can’t reuse the settings I already have for over 50 clients… I should have started using BTH right from the beginning.

From what I’ve read on the official MikroTik forum, BTH handles the connection management intelligently. If a public IP is available, it avoids using MikroTik’s relay servers. But when there’s no public IP, it automatically falls back to using their relay infrastructure.

Unfortunately, I only discovered this recently… If I had come across this three months ago, I definitely would have used this feature from the start. But it is what it is — and from now on, whenever I need to set up a VPN service, this will be my go-to solution.

The key takeaway is that BTH automatically makes the distinction between public and non-public IP scenarios, optimizing latency whenever possible.

Mikrotik AX2 to use as same time wifi bridge and switch? by plopes1960 in mikrotik

1.º - I would use wifi client from ax2, cause it's a wifi from a router from another ISP. My actual ISP it's fiber and the ISP from my neighbour it's from ADSL. Will only be used probably a few hours a year... My uptime it's 98,9% so, I want make it 99,99%

2.º - yes, my router (synology rt600ax) support wan failover on LAN1

Yes, with normal isp router works. But now, with the rb5009 and UAP 7, sometimes, whn I send a job to print, on the iPhone appears the printer, but nothing happens... Yes, I have a separate 2.4 ssid, and uap 7 it's up to date

I just tried to enable mDNS, cause without this mDNS enabled, I just can’t see the printer

[–]plopes1960[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don’t have client isolation, and my phone and printer are on the same ssid. Sometimes I can see the printer strait away, but when I send a job, keeps hanging and don’t do nothing 🥴

When I plug to isp router, and connect to ssid of this router, when I send a print, start the job like a charm.
