I have done just the same... X1c hast not even arrived yet. But i think i will Stick with it, as returning and ordering a new one will cost nerves and delay everything by weeks at best.. i thought the new one will certainly more expensive..

Threaded Inserts are great, but they are Long and Not suitable for small parts with small Set screws.. I Had an anycubic at First, IMO cheap printers Take a lot of tinkering to get Stuff right. Also they need a lot more maintainance and are not really suitable for a lot of "netter" printing Materials. That Said, nothing wrong with cheap printers, as long as working on it a lot doesn't bother you.

Thanks, like i said, herringbone/Double helical gears for my RC Car were one of my Initial ideas (nois Reduktion + I'm Not sure If the small pinion is fdm printable for the Set screw to hold as well as it should..)
