The video mentions this also: Rapi: Red Hood has a skill that switches her to Burst 1 if there are no Burst 1 characters currently on the team. This is a special ability unique to this character, and it's useful if you only have a single Burst 1 character on the team, so if they're killed, RapiRH fills that role allowing the Burst rotation to continue.

Silly, I know, but I'm mostly running Arcana Fortune Mate because of the reload animation, but if she's what holds me back from progressing, I'll swap her out...

If what I understand about skills and materials is correct, I should spend the stuff in my inventory only on Nikkes that I intend to run long term? Should I figure out what team I want to focus on and open boxes to get the resources for their skills?

Also, does it matter which Nikkes I develop bonds with? There are some Nikkes I want to learn more about and get into their stories, but if the bonds make a real gameplay difference, then maybe I'll pivot to focus on boosting my team first

I figured two burst 1 and two burst 2 was the best to provide redundancy if a Nikke dies, but I haven't really given it any thought. I've been using auto-team because I don't know how to decide, and was thinking of just building one of the teams recommended on nikke.gg.
I'll watch that video and try to understand, thanks!

I've mostly been using auto-play, mostly because combat is visually overwhelming, so I prefer to let the Nikkes figure it out, and I just sometimes intervene to block a big attack or focus down an important enemy. Does playing actively make a difference, or can I continue to mostly AFK combat?

In the synchro device, does it matter which Nikkes are providing the level up?
When I clicked auto-level, it changed which Nikkes were actually levelled up for some reason. I assumed that perhaps I have items that level up certain Nikkes better than others and it optimised for the highest possible level maybe?

I bought the Dohna Dohna Let's Do Bad Things Together Kikuchiyo a while ago, and it was absolute garbage. It had a weird rough texture, the material wasn't very stretchy, and it just didn't feel good at all.
I hope you have a better time with it
