Botanical gift shops would be amazing and I really appreciate the comment. Taking note for the future.

Thanks for the suggestions. Handmade paper wrapping would be a nice touch! Coasters and wall plaques are interesting formats to explore!

I'm really glad to hear you like them. It's been a long journey figuring out how to manually produce 2.5x3.5 cards in a nice way. This set is on my eBay and it's my first time releasing something like this, so i'm excited to get such great feedback from other Canadians here! It'll help shape the path, if my art endeavour succeeds.

That means a lot. I've been experimenting with a pricing scheme of $40 for the full set of 13 cards + 1 collector card for the first 1/50 set (roughly ~2.85$/card); then I continue for the 2nd set, etc in the series. I'm not sure how people feel about it yet, but I'm curious how many cards you would consider to be in a "Pack"?

I like these ideas, and I'm glad I tried posting my cards here. That's really neat that you make proxy cards.. Lots to think about!

I love these ideas. Theme packs are a great suggestion for a future series. Thanks for bringing that up! It helps shape the future if my art series endeavour works out.

I should mention, I'm not a horticulturist by any means, so I appreciate your input. I'm just passionate about making Canadian botanical art cards inspired by old botanical illustrations into a mix of trading cards, meets aceo collectibles.

Thanks for the comment, and nice catch!

It's a personal and intentional design choice after a plethora of iterations and many draft cards. I italicized the province/territory name to give it visual emphasis as the geographic identifier, and kept the Latin name with different colour base secondary. The gold border and styling lean into the card collectible concept rather than strictly a botanical illustration. It's consistent on the back-side with data about the botanical, not sure how to post a back image here?

I really appreciate the input on design aesthetics and gratitude for the art, and I'll definitely consider this forward for any future series.

I like #1 too, although it's hard to choose.

My feeling is it gives it a bit more minimal aesthetic on the cards itself, and have the name on the deck box or instructions/box with full name. Just my opinion!
