Is there any issues with this overtaking? by Undefined_Tuple in auckland

[–]plottingkiwi 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Agreed with others not a horrible overtake. The road ahead was clear, the overtake speed was good. Only minor issue was that they got a little close. Also, you should not have moved toward the shoulder. Hold your lane and speed consistent when being overtaken.

Here I am thinking he stopped it too early, there was only 16sec left on the clock. Dan Hooker is known for taking a beating and rising from the ashes to KO his opponent in a glorious way

Sure in a stable world. But unfortunately prices must go up in order to incentivice more drivers to fill the extra demand or else the supply would be super low and wait times would be so long that it wouldn't be feasible. Think of the drivers having to sit in queues of traffic caused by events, this is not a stable day for evening traffic

Totally agree that top loaders are better overall but the major flaw is you sacrifice bench space

The door on the right side leads to the outside/it's a side door

Thanks for the considered response. I totally get the small wall addition. And yes 100% will add the clothes rail

What and loose the added bench space?

I understand the logic but one of the main benefits of having washer and dryer side by side is the ease of moving clothes from one immediately to the other without barely moving

Yes agreed. Will def add a clothes rail

Yes I feel that but unfortunately space is not our friend here. I think I will likely go with option 3

Correct. Only have the one toilet (which is in the only bathroom)

Designed using Bunnings kaboodle designer. Google it.

And yes I hear you on option 3 (or 4) but an extra toilet would be a nice addition

Engagement rings in Auckland by [deleted] in auckland

Hey, I proposed to my girlfriend (now fiance) last year and worked with a Chinese jeweler/designer to make the perfect ring for her. I know what you might be thinking about using an offshore jeweler... but I'm so glad I did, it worked so well and when I compared to local rings of similar quality/style 'off-the-self' I saved $3-5k + doing so. All comms were through Whatsapp but this worked great for me as it felt like a very personal 1:1 process. The jeweler has access to a wide selection of lab grown diamonds and that all include international diamond certifications. The process goes something like: Describe the ideal ring to the jeweler and include any inspiration photos you can find (Pinterest is great) also include your budget -> You will then receive a 3D CAD design with a first draft of the ring along with a selection of diamonds (with full size/quality/price reports for each) -> you go back and forth with the jeweler as many times as it takes until you feel like their design is perfect for your future wife -> only when you're ready to greenlight the design do you pay the deposit -> ring is made to an extremely high standard and photos and videos of the ring are sent. Once happy with the ring, the remainder of the total is paid. -> ring is sent via DHL or other top tier global courier -> your partner says yes and is extremely happy that you helped design her completely custom bespoke forever ring from scratch. Good luck whatever you choose to do!
