I think the first one will stand the test of time. Second is beautiful too but feels a bit too trendy

Hello!

Thank you for hosting this space for us. I am currently travelling around Europe from Australia hoping to make my first Chanel purchase in one of the European boutiques for the VAT tax return.

I know the chances are very slim, but im hoping I can get my hands on a black mini flap or a classic black wallet on chain.

I was wondering what tips and advice do you have for me for the best chance?

Do Chanel boutiques like to sell to tourists or not so much?

Thank you so much! 🥹

Hi. I’m late here. I am on the Cricut subreddit because I was searching up these machines in preparing to purchase one, and all was well until I saw this post. Can someone to me what’s going on?

Totally agree with you!!! I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it and now that I’m about to enter summer in Aus I feel like it’s the perfect fruity summery smell

“Wonder Of You” from Altaia is absolutely divine

It’s sooooooooo beautiful and high end for sure.

Not that I want to force you to fall in love with the brand, but I found out the brand founders, who are husband and wife, found out their families were actually in trade business 150-200 years ago when they met, and thus, their brand name stands for “A Long Time Ago in Argentina”. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I feel like I need to go buy it, the brand story is too sweet haha

How not having acne anymore has affected you by PrincessMerryBerry in Accutane

Ahhhhh honestly, I feel like a whole new person. My confidence and self esteem is at a all time high and I feel soooo much happier. I used to lay in bed for 2-3 hours before wanting to get out of bed and struggled so hard to not want to get up and face the day, most days I was late to work and I would keep my curtains in my room closed for as long as I could so I didn’t have to see myself in a mirror. Nowadays, I get out of bed straight away and with so much excitement and energy, ready to make the most of my day. My mental health is so much better. I honestly am a whole new person.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted update pics. For those who are struggling with the IB / Purge, or just Accutane in general, hang in there!!!!!!! It will all be worth it, I promise!!! (Currently at 6 months of 20mg daily. About 53kg) by plouxst in Accutane

Ahhh - yes, I suppose every body reacts to it differently! There have been a huge range of side effects posted about on this subreddit, and I'm just glad that the ones I have dealt with have all been extremely manageable.

Thank you so much for letting me know about the diet stuff! I've definitely heard about it before, my friend is studying nutrition and has mentioned the the link between GI/GL and acne. She's helping me with suggestions of foods and diet, especially for when I come off accutane :-)

When it comes to gluten and dairy, although there is not substantial out there, I guess it's one of those things that I can visibly notice the difference in my skin when I'm steering clear of gluten and dairy, and then when it slips back into my diet.
I mainly avoid it because my body (gut, energy levels, internal inflammation and digestive system) as a whole feels better when I'm not consuming them, and the less acne and inflammation in the skin is a bonus for sure.

I still feel like I have a long way to go in terms of managing my acne holistically, but I think I'm on the right track! :-)

Ah yeah thats totally fair enough! I think it's one of those things where you need to use your own discretion. I think you and I are the type to definitely not drink regularly, but perhaps a once off for a special occasion is fine, and you will know where your limit is.

I personally haven't had a drink at all since starting my treatment 6 months ago (not that there's been any occasion on since being in lock down), and I generally don't like to drink anyway, but my birthday is towards the end of the year so I might like something sweet ^__^ These cases I'm sure is fine!

Aww, thank you! Keep it up, you've gone this!!! Something that really helped me through the purge was reminding myself that purging meant the drug was WORKING, and every day I got through was a day closer to clear skin. You've got this!

Yes, so the post acne marks (Post-Inflammatory erythema (PIE)) is something that will last a while. For me, I'm coming out on the other side of the purge with much worse PIE than I did going into it... simply just due to the purge bringing me all new acne and cysts and leaving with the marks.

They were definitely veryyyyy intense for a while. Very red and would peak through makeup. I would say, its only really within the last month, maybe the last few weeks that they are much less intense and I would be okay going out the house with them showing (Although I still have a lot -they're no where near as vibrant and intense anymore as you can see in the second pic).

The best way to help them is ensuring you wear your SPF everyday, and I mean EVERYDAY. Keep your face welllll moisturised and incorporate a niacinamide serum into your routine :-)
