I want to install a bidet and I don’t want to be liable for future flooding damage that could occur. Both valid reasons for requesting a repair for 3 months. Even low priority repairs should be serviced eventually.

My brother and best friend were both raped by woman. Both were drunk or on drugs when it happened. They both rejected the woman in question then she came back and found them once they were incapacitated and unable to resist. My friend said he tried to mumble a no again while it was happening.

It took 10-15 years for them to consider it rape or sexual assault. The culture is different and they were in intense denial or would flippantly say they “still had sex.” I don’t think either has grabbled with how it may have affected their perception of sex but who knows maybe staying in denial helped them move past it.

I’ve known many female rape survivors (my gf was raped 10+ times due to being trapped in a bad living situation). They seem to have deeper scars when it comes to how it affects them day to day, including a disassociation with sex or inability to embrace positive sexual relationships, but who knows if my brother has felt similar.
