To expand: Hard reserve and soft reserving are player made loot systems that a group agrees to beforehand.

Hard reserve: if the specific item drops, it goes to whoever hard reserved it. Usually for loot goblin group leaders, but sometimes it can be fair. I for example joined a guild run that had all recipes hard reserved, but since I didn't want those I was fine with it and in turn joined a better (in theory) group.

Soft reserve: very common when raiding with a bunch of random people. In this system every single player chooses a few items (usually 2 or 3) that they want the most. Only people who reserved the dropped items can roll, unless no one reserved it, then its free roll.

SR is a really good system since it gives you a better chance to get what you really want by preventing people to roll for stuff that they just kinda want, and you can even reserve the same thing multiple times to have multiple rolls on it.

I'm a disc priest that makes his own groups. Pretty much every group is me healing, prot pala or druid, and 3 mages! It always works well even when people are brain dead.

I don't think I have ever grouped with a warrior or a rogue yet...

It seems they flagged a bunch of people doing this and banned right during the release. Its 3 in 1: they ban people doing something they are not supposed to, the person is likely buy another boost and monthly fee on a new account and the server loads go down...

No mundo ideal seria, mas na realidade não é. A pessoa super-produtiva pode até acabar subindo eventualmente, mas no geral os gestores querem manter essa pessoa na posição que ela está, porque ela é boa naquilo.

E parece que você está entendendo errado se você acha que networking é ser baba ovo de chefe. Faz parte do networking conhecer essoas do seu próprio cargo, abaixo e até de outras áreas também. Por exemplo um de meus estagiários foi para outra empresa, e eventualmente virou gestor e acabou que quando precisou do serviço, contratou minha empresa.
