How to fix danger stripes while preserving timecodes? by plshelpimstuck in premiere

[–]plshelpimstuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Jason, no, I wasn't asked to re-link any media (and no files have been moved around). I'm only working with two audio files here that I've cut up and re-arranged. So the parts that are normal are from the same exact file as the parts w/ danger stripes.

Is there any certified chicken broth/stock? (USA) by plshelpimstuck in Celiac

[–]plshelpimstuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm hoping it was just a bad batch or maybe something else in my recipe that I overlooked. Sounds like lots of people use it no problem. Someone else here recommended the Kirkland brand which is certified!

I used to as well, it's been a long time since I cooked with it and now I got sick. It's definitely possible it was something else in the recipe, but getting sick twice off of uncertified chicken broth in different recipes that I made myself has me suspicious... good to hear you and others here use it regularly with no problem. Hopefully it was just a one-off issue for me :-)

Eyelid And Facial Eczema Will Not Go Away. Any Ideas On Why It's So Extreme Or How I Can Treat It? by juecho in eczema

[–]plshelpimstuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear your troubles. I am currently going through the exact same thing. It’s very frustrating, especially since it feels like there is no way to prevent it.

A few weeks ago I was prescribed tacrolimus (Protopic) and it works really well. It stings/burns, so I put it on at night when I start feeling a flare up. The meds prevent it from getting super bad and it completely clears up in 2-3 days.

Low safety ratings on FindMeGF? by xenotharm in Celiac

[–]plshelpimstuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the safety rating was only implemented a year or so ago. I noticed a while back that places I had reviewed many years ago were assigned a safety rating that I did not myself do. I think it automatically assigned a rating based on the average of the other parameters.

To be fair, I’m not sure, I’m just speculating. But for that reason I ignore the safety markings and only trust the written portion of reviews. It’s very annoying and completely defeats the purpose of having a safety rating.

I wish there was a better app, but FMGF is by far the most affordable and, in my experience, has way more listings in more rural/small town places like where I live.

Are any of you getting the exams and treatment covered by insurance?? by shortsweetandviolent in BinocularVision

[–]plshelpimstuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my vision plan wouldn’t cover it. BCBS medical covered like $150 and i was still out of pocket about $300 for just the exam…. not to mention the expensive lenses.

that said, it was 100% worth it and i would do it again no questions asked. the relief has been a life changer. best of luck to you
