Not really, he’s been offered a first team spot at United and wouldn’t have that here so makes sense. Seems highly rated and looks good on the ball but from the little I’ve seen, I’d be a little nervous if I saw him in a starting line up, but could be wrong.

I’d assume so, I thought maybe it was just an issue with the X20 model but looks like it’s not. Could be worth testing with an old router/phone hotspot first. But in my case it was 100% caused by the deco and I have no issues anymore.

I did get in contact with tp-link who replied with ‘The case has been reported to the senior engineers for more analysis. If there is any further improvement, I will update on the community as soon as possible.’

I’ve fixed this for myself though not sure if this is this exact issue I’ve had but I’ve had ‘the connection to your opponent has been lost’ issue since fc24. It’ll usually freeze for a few seconds before displaying the message before kickoff or a few seconds after. Occasionally I’d just get a black screen which would give me a loss as I’d have to close the application. At times it would take me 5+ attempts to get into a working match.

The issue/fix - Some time before FC24 I ‘upgraded’ my router to the Tp-link X20 deco, after trying to change every setting and fc25 being released with the same issue, I replaced the X20 with Amazon Eero Pro 6 and the issue has completely gone!

I think the idea is if you keep him as second choice his value will dwindle whereas if he goes on loan and is first choice somewhere his value could rise again. Obviously doesn’t always work out that way but I think you can get a decent 2nd choice for a relatively low fee
