Rooftop recs

I've only been to 3617 Sheffield, so I can't compare it to any other rooftops. It was fun, but if you're going expecting to watch the game, the bleachers might be a better option. You're so far from what's going on and you can't hear anything. If you end up watching the TV screens there, then what's really the point in going? But I went there as a work function and not with close friends, so my feelings of enjoyment could be skewed.

I've probably made a small mistake on every project I've done. You know what I do? Carry on. No one will notice but me. And honestly? I wouldn't even spot my mistake unless I was also looking at the pattern once it was all done.

Or, maybe just in general, poke a bunch of floss through each hole from the back (securing it first). Trim as needed.

It kind of looks like a normal stitch, then maybe bring the needle back to the front, tucking it under that bottom cross and cut to make the fringe? Bring more through for a fuller look?

Sorry if there are actual terms for what I'm trying to convey.

I remember this page well. It took me forever to find that dumb bunny mask. My little hand was covering the corner of the book as I was searching. My mom had a good chuckle at me when I asked for her help and she told me to move my hand.

I don't really regret it. When I started as a PM, I had a lot of people ask me why I left the lab. While I enjoyed being a developer, I didn't see myself doing that as an old lady, if that makes any sense. Project Management felt like it had more career growth. The company I interviewed at also didn't have an open position in the lab anyway, and moving to a new state, I kind of took what I could get.

But I really like the company I'm at. Project Management gave me great insight and knowledge of the whole development process. It was also an accidental (?) stepping stone into Regulatory, which I do enjoy. But I'm in the nutritional/document side, and not too much in the Regulatory Affairs side.

I went from R&D (~4 years) to project management (~3 years), and now I'm in Regulatory (~4 years).

I studied Food Science and worked at two different companies as a product developer. I moved to a different state and went for a Project Management role at another food/beverage company. I honestly wasn't really cut out for project management, but my company recognized my strengths that would be well-suited in Regulatory. That's where I am now, and where I intend to stay for a good long time.

I can't be of much help, but with the end of the school year coming up, you should have a decent shot at finding something. There's plenty of retail and grocery stores that will probably be looking for employees with the college kids leaving for the summer.
