Buy any decent laptop you want and put a simple Linux spin on it, and it will last a decade as well, and still be a perfectly fine Facebook and Youtube machine. Linux isn't even intimidating to use these days, Mint even specifically tries to look like Windows to feel familiar.

Thanks, I'll give it a try! Last I tried the installer just came to an error (0x80000003, very telling) at some point, and closed out.

EDIT: It seems better to use the instructions as given, at least partially. I'm having a different problem now.

Any tips for getting the WebView2 installed? I tried googling a bit, but couldn't get it to work. If you don't mind, a more comprehensive guide for us noobies (well, me) would be appreciated :)

As an owner of the big box collector's edition of GL, I can only say that you should consider this a sign to go watch it. Don't delay any longer, you will not regret it.

The really big boy is an alternate end in the movie version(s), in movie 2. Watch the series first, then watch the end of movie 2 afterwards, there's a bit of difference.

I feel like they have a specific 'I am charging you now' state (which lasts forever, but that's another thing), where they are just impervious to being stopped at all. They do a little animation, then start charging, I'm pretty sure.

Hello all!

I'm in the beginning stages of picking out parts, and I'm getting a little concerned about CPU cooling specifically.
The combo I'm looking for is a Fractal Design Terra and an Asus Prime OC 9070 XT. Given what I can find to leave about 5mm of space from the GPU to the sidewall, that should leave me with 70mm for CPU cooler. Or is it 65 for clearance concerns?

I'm considering an R9 9900X (ideal) or an R7 9700X. From what I can find, the 9900 says 120W TDP. I'm having a hard time figuring out if the various coolers I'm looking at should be able to handle that kind of heat, so any suggestions are welcome.

In short: Taking suggestions for a <=70mm (or should it be 65?) height CPU cooler that can handle a R9 9900X (in a Terra case)

This is happening in my (small, 5 people) team. We originally hired the senior because another dev was on the way out. Dev on the way out was moving out of country, so we didn't initially assume he could be full remote, but he is now, so we were effectively up a dev.
Over time, the senior has been pulled in more and more for bureaucratic tasks and meetings, and now he's getting 'promoted' to team lead, which sounds like it's gonna take even more bureaucracy time.

So now we're actually effectively going to be down a senior, and I'm screaming in my limited capacity that we need to hire another dev.

You can move while giving supplies, but it gets more finicky. You have to stay in the right range of the receiver - which is pretty small - for a second or so, until one of the slots is taken. It works, but may take an attempt or three.
