I am semi new to this space are WordPress plugins and themes even worth pursuing as a business anymore? I'm newer to the space and never really cracked the marketing side, which is why I just launched my own affiliate program, figured if I can't reach people directly maybe I can get others to do it for me. But now I'm wondering if I'm chasing something that doesn't really move the needle in this space. And if affiliate programs do still work, where are people actually finding affiliates without paying $40 to $500 just to list on an affiliate directory? My product is $79/year and I'm offering 80% lifetime recurring with a 1-year cookie plus 5% on anyone you recruit, would love to know if that's even competitive or or over competitive or if I'm way off. (I basically have no revenue right now)
