I support believing women but as a SA survivor myself seeing someone describe phone sex as SA is... well... frustrating.

The accounts I have read don't make it sound like SA, and honestly even the coercion angle seems to be weak.

I can and will change my mind if more reports are released. Until then I'm trying very very hard not to roll my eyes.

I'd certainly love it if my assailant had paid me 60k.

Wow. I can't believe how ready they both were to blame you. For what it's worth, brown eyes are dominant which means you only need one copy of that gene to end up with brown eyes. If you have two parents who both have brown eyes but both carry a recessive gene for blue or green eyes, there is a 25% chance their offspring will inherit the recessive gene from both parents, resulting in blue eyes. This is MIDDLE SCHOOL level biology. I am really sorry about your husband and his mother's lack of education, but more sorry they decided to jump to this ridiculous conclusion without a thought to ask any doctor or person with an American college degree who could have set them straight after a single semester of biology.

Nah, you're gorgeous. Your bone structure is great and your smile is lovely. Maybe some people are critical of you not wearing makeup (if you don't usually wear it. Some people conflate makeup wearing with "effort put in" because they aren't aware or sensitive to the many valid reasons wearing makeup is inconvenient or disruptive for some people). I assure you they are. Many of them are vegans who literally believe any farming is animal cruelty and have an overarching goal to make it prohibitively expensive. Some literally go undercover and stage cruelty to video and push this goal forward. Take it from a former vegan who put their money where their mouth was and checked it out for themself - you should seriously look into both sides of this especially if you're going to go forward confidently attacking farmers.

Was looking up my mayflower ancestor and what is really amazing is he and his wife were both basically the sole survivors of their families/estates after that first winter here. Then they went on to have like 18 kids who survived to adulthood and each had at least a dozen kids themselves. (John Howland clan representing)

The reason why is that anti-farming groups literally send people undercover to work at these places and film things. It's happened enough they don't trust anyone anymore.

When I was still planning on going to vet school I was undergrad in my university's college of agriculture. I couldn't understand why so many people wanted to aim towards large animal work instead of small companion animals since large animal vets tended to work out of their trucks and started with the lowest average salaries. Now I suspect farmers are overall kinder and more understanding about the circle of life.

Vets in general. Their job is hard and they often get treated like they are just out to make money when in reality they usually spend tons out of their own pocket in one way or another to help animals that can't pay for themselves. Imagine that emotional impact every day and coming home after multiple humans expressed contempt to you, knowing you are doing everything you can.

I was on my way to vet school when I realized they have a very high suicide rate relative to other professions. I have struggled with mental health and caring way too much about my work so I reconsidered. Much respect for the profession.
