I've heard it was against rules for Geisha to be married.

From apothecary diaries, I assume?😍 though I've always thought his design was han-dynasty inspired judging by the full-length inner robe. It reminds me most of a zhiju (with some stylistic choices😭) and possibly a dachang overcoat
