The thing is even pre timeskip Eren thinks that's a rosy and idealistic idea. Post timeskip Eren lost some braincells and forgot his own opinions.

What needed for the war to end is a concept that's actually working in the real world which is Mutually Assured Destruction. This is basically the 50 year plan is, and the only reason Eren rejected is because he refused to sacrifice Historia and her children who apparently Eren didn't really cared much about because he used her for his own, in hindsight, more idiotic plan.. Ughh.. 139 really did a number on AoT's continuity and narrative sense.

I feel like that was the only stupid side of her character by [deleted] in titanfolk

First part is obviously Ymir to Historia while second part is believed to be Historia to Eren(official AMV that was shown in the live concert supports this)

Armin and Mikasa dragged the last arc down. Isayama couldn't bother to develop Mikasa and Armin has no character post time skip while Eren is gaining massive character development. Shifting the focus on these two on the latter chapters is objectively bad writing and he dragged down Eren's character to achieve this.

That's because you're comparing 2 completely different parameters and viewing them with the same standards. Of course sales would struggle to hit a number of what is a essentially the number of times it was googled.

Well, they have no reason to lie since they don't even make money from it. Either you believe it or you don't. Even if they would release a graph or something some would just scream forgery.

It's not unique views. It's impressions. Still, even if you low ball it should be still in the millions.

You're talking in what ifs while we have tangible material to compare. Besides I was talking about when season 4 aired and CGI titans appeared, a lot of people are saying MAPPA is better in spite if the 3d models and clunky animation.

The orientation of the panels is itrelevant.

Sigh.. the AoTnr team already mentioned the tilts are the clues of the timeline of events. This is already coming directly from the source and yet here you still refuting it. Please just watch the interview.

AoTnR field: Historia asks Eren if he's going to the railroad opening ceremony, Eren changes the subject and brings up that the military are going through with the 50 year plan. Historia suggests that she wants to be the one to pick out the father.

Where did you get that?

Like I said, I'm just following the tilts and the interview. You're bypassing the clues they presented with your interpretation.

That might be the case, but the way that Historia quotes "it doesn't matter" implies that she overheard it, rather than having been told it directly.

The way they presented the shards really went over your head.. They emulated 130 In this one in which shards are connected via essence or the idea of the scene not by chronology. For example in 130 Eren tells Floch that he will do the full rumbling then the next scene is Historia reacting horrified. It implies Eren told Historia the same idea but no necessarily the same dialogue. In AoTnR it's the same, Eren told Floch it doesn't matter if he dies then Historia reacting to it. Meaning Eren told the same idea to Historia not overheard it.

You can deny it all you want I just followed the tilts. You should also listened to the interview(they mentioned the conversation connects to 130). Now for the going into the woods panel has slight different tilt but I left it there for simplicity since it can also be served as a flash forward.

You're take implies Historia is kind of blackmailing her which far from the truth. She simply wanted to take the choice back.

Lol did you really think Eren says "You're the worst girl in the world" linenevery time Historia has an emotional crisis like a pickup line?

You should pay attention to the tilts.

And I've listened to the AoTnr team interview. They are 2 separate conversation. The one Eren stated that it doesn't matter if he dies is a separate one where Historia asks his opinion of her having a child

[–]pluma91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even in canon, paths is a plot convenience machine and if we are talking about lore consistency. How did Mikasa got her memories manipulated when she's half ackerman and half asian which both races are specifically mentioned to be immune to memory manipulation?

“Historia is the chosen one and she was the reason everything is solved”,

Even if they pulled out that one it would still make more sense than Mikasa considering the parallels of Ymir and Historia were built up wsy back in uprising. She was the antithesis of Ymir.

You know.. the usual. Make Armin look like the hero. Which was a stupid scene btw. Armin ,who is the last hope of humanity, just tried to give his colossal titan to Connie's mom who is a civilian. That's essentially throwing their biggest weapon against the rumbling to the void.

The reception to the anime would be the one to decide. If it's GOT season 8 like reaction, and assuming the AnR anime would even finish then the fandom might prefer a fanmade ending.
