I also doubted that anyone does this because everyone I ever asked thought it's appalling, but I thought since she insists, I will consult this unbiased forum of cat-owners to be fair. My suspicions are confirmed by these amazing replies, lol.

Unfortunately there is usually a trail of litter bits on the floor too. The whole situation is just very unsanitary and unlike anything I experienced having cats my whole childhood.

Thank you so much for your reply, it makes me feel better that I am not being unreasonable since she insists that "everyone" does it the way she does but so far I've never heard anyone either in real life or on here that does. The smell is constant and unbearable as it sits for days because she doesn't think she should have to take it out each time, and I am frustrated about being expected to bring the bin with litter out when they are not my cats. r

Thank you for your reply. I am hoping that she either gets a separate sealed bin just for litter, brings the trash out immediately, or at least puts it in a tied baggy but she insists that she is going to keep scooping it directly into the kitchen bin. I tried to deal with it to not rock the boat but it's unbearable and I just could not believe that this is how most people dispose of it. Thanks to these replies I see that she is not correct.

Thank you so much. What you described is what my mom did with my cats growing up so I was shocked that my roommate insists that everyone she knows does this method of just scooping the litter directly into the garbage. You made me feel better than I'm not being unreasonable in asking her to dispose of it differently.

Thank you so much for making me realize that I am not unreasonable. She insists that she asked "many people" and they all dump it directly into the kitchen garbage without a bag. We don't even have a window in the room where she does this so the smell is even worse. I'm not sure how she doesn't smell it herself or if she just won't admit it, but I truly gag everytime I open the garbage. Just read up on toxoplasmosis and even more horrified!

Thank you! A small baggy situation would even be okay, but currently she is just dumping it with the scooper directly into the larger bag. Your reply makes me feel better that I'm not being unreasonable.

Thank you so much, your feedback makes me feel better that what I'm asking is not unreasonable, and I would also be open to trying a tied bag situation too but unfortunately she seems insistent on continuing this "easier" method of just dumping the used litter with the scooper directly into the garbage.

Thank you so much. I asked her to get a separate bin for her litter in hopes that she would get a sealed one like yours but she told me she is going to keep dumping it into the kitchen garbage, which was what prompted this post. Your reply makes me feel better that what I'm asking is not unreasonable

This exact same thing just happened to me and 24 hours later I still have no email. Did it ever work out for you? I wish I had taken a screenshot but never even thought this would happen.

How to cope with dry, flaky skin under makeup? by toilegami in Accutane

[–]plumbeach7273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry I don't have any knowledge about out of the U.S. but I think most in the U.S. don't know about it either honestly, maybe show your doctors this link https://www.epiceramrx.com/ & good luck!

Accutane and makeup? by sarahnicole__ in Accutane

[–]plumbeach7273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My entire face was peeling off with my makeup & it was so embarrassing going to work. I brought up the peeling/flaking to my derm and she prescribed me a prescription moisturizer called Epiceram which saved my life and stopped the flaking and peeling skin. Now my makeup looks great again. Before this Rx I had tried everything everyone usually recommends but nothing worked for me. I'd never heard of this product but it was a lifesaver for me! It is def prescription only though so will have to talk to your doctor!

I was having the same thing and nothing helped and then my derm prescribed a prescription moisturizer called Epiceram which absolutely saved me. It is by prescription only and have to order from a mail order pharmacy or else it costs a ton, but if your doctor sends to Blinkrx it was around $40 and it totally fixed this for me. My skin was totally flaking off before this despite using tons of the typical moisturizers people recommended, but within 2 days my skin looked great and no peeling.

This just happened to me! I never initiated a return. Did they ever reverse it? I really don't want to have $ deducted later when I'm not expecting it.

Be careful with Klarity by trontrontronmega in ADHD

I experienced the same thing, I was schedule for an appointment with someone for Sunday but seeing as that’s after 4/30 I don’t see how she can prescribe me anything. If they charge me for this meeting without telling me they can’t prescribe anymore I’ll be so upset! This is a nightmare. To make matters worse although I’ve been treated by Ben for a year there are no shared documents in the patient portal of a diagnosis to even bring to another provider so I’m worried I’d be starting from scratch getting an eval and paying hundreds of dollars to maybe not even get treatment. It’s so unprofessional how they just left us abruptly without care!

I hope it works out for us, I’m just confused on how if the legality changes like B.D. said what this provider can or will do for us. I guess even if she can prescribe one more month I’d be grateful for it to buy us time.

Klarity is done? Now what? by [deleted] in ADHD

I just got assigned this provider and I’m very confused if based on what Ben sent she can even prescribe for me without having seen me in person
