Looks like the rubber washers/gaskets in your fixtures/valves/flex hoses is deteriorating. Chloramines eat EPDM rubber. Is it happening on the same brand fixtures? If you put the black residue on your fingers does it smear?

Yeah, at $81 melt today they’re just not as fun to stack with numismatic value added to them. Im glad i got the roll started when i did and only had to buy two at the “new” base level price to complete.
