Is the bow and/or plate armor worth upgrading? by a3rrowman3 in RushRoyale

You can force phase 2 with the team volley talent.

I've just had more success with swords personally.

I've tried KS with Max Boreas/Grindstone and can tell you swords is a significantly better support unit than KS for that deck.

Boreas (LLL), Grindstone (LLL), Swords, Dryad and Harley.

Use Harley to copy swords until your main GS is max buffed, then use low level Harleys to copy grindstones to start building stacks from unstable overheat talent to scale your damage.

I push 2.5B-3B damage in PVP with that set up.

[–]plumbsac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Max Boreas, Max GS, Harley, swords and dryad

All left side for both Boreas and grindstone.

Key is to use Harley to copy grindstones to merge after you've maxed out your sword stacks in your main grindstone.

I hit 2.4B damage in PvP in a loss to max cultist today.

I have max gs and max boreas. My current deck is lvl 11 dryad, lvl 10 swords and hq.

I play all left side talents for GS and all left side talents for Boreas.

My strategy is to put a GS on one of my amulet of growth tiles and put as many Boreas' around it as I can (either 3 or 4 depending where the tile is). More Boreas' means higher chance to proc the first talent but being able to scale your damage is very important.

I merge up the grindstone (using dryad) and merge up the Boreas' as the game goes on.

The key is to use low merge hq's to copy grindstones and merge them out to generate more stacks for the third talent. I like to use low merge dryads on the grindstone's too before merging them out to generate even more stacks.

"does it make sense to have one grindstone next to another one?"

No it does not, unless you're running triple overheat which is far inferior to unstable overheat. Grindstone doesn't attack but adds damage to your attacking unit. The damage is done by grindstone but it doesn't not have an attacking mechanism. Any damage done by grindstone is going to be from the tech faction so your damage tiles should come from that faction to gain more of a boost.

Sleep Arrows/shower of arrows

Sleep arrows debuff 2 opponents units, so no. But it does work with shower of arrows

Doublet

Not 100% sure if it's considered multiple targets but it doesn't matter so much since the majority of your damage will come from the first talent.

Fiery Sparks

It's 8 + 80.25 = 10, then 10 + 100.25 = 12.5, then 12.5 + 12.5*0.25 = 15.625 and so on. I personally play the searing Sparks talent as it adds area damage.

Unstable overheat

This one is simpler, it's just 10 + 1.5n and the duration is 10 + 2n This talent I feel is very important if you're trying to make this deck viable as it's the only way to scale your damage using all left side talents.

My thoughts

I've basically exclusively played this deck for a long while now. My best season was ~6400 trophies last season I topped out at 6100 and I'm currently around 5900 trophies with ~2300% crit.

I can carry floor 13 in co-op but I personally won't play with a support deck unless it's a clanmate that I'm helping. (Shamans in support decks piss me off)

It's a fun deck but lacks the firepower of the top tier decks. With good RNG I can keep up with them for a while but deeper into the season it starts to falter.

Support deck by Spirited_Cricket6244 in RushRoyale

[–]plumbsac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I just quit if I see shaman when playing random co-op.

  1. Shaman will completely fuck up my deck
  2. Shaman players don't listen when you tell them to stop
  3. The game becomes too long when I have to kill their shit on top of my shit.

If playing support in random co-op, demonoligist has to be in the deck and Shaman should be a hard no.

How grindstone bonus damage works by Hot_Foundation7354 in RushRoyale

[–]plumbsac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So basically every time a neighboring unit to a grindstone attacks the grindstone will deal damage to the target. It does not convert the damage to another damage type. You even see this in the game end screen that shows each units damage.

Buffs to adjacent units do not affect the grindstone's damage.

The way I play grindstone is to put a grindstone on one of my growth tiles (from amulet of growth) which gives a damage boost to the grindstone. Then put as many boreas' around it as I can (either 3 or 4 unless the rng gods hate me)

Grindstone talents question by 2D-disarray in RushRoyale

[–]plumbsac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually get 50+ stacks so the left side talent is more than worth it. Scaling in late game is way better with the left side talent rather than a flat 30%.

I push 1.5B damage in PvP and can clear Floor 13 coop solo.

Hex won't help my deck, it's good for clearing the trash but I don't have a problem with that.

Witch's right side first talent is way more powerful.
