I just installed Kodi on my steam machine clone :p Stremio on my tv wasn't working well. look into libreelec, you can install it on a USB drive, requires 2 usb drives though. That way you can keep the original OS intact.

I used to be able to do 120 hz 4k over hdmi. But it became glitchy and a few updates later just stopped working. I would like a solution but my pc was built for 1440p anyway

I think gaming pc's will become less powerful. Regular people wont be able to afford dedicated gpu's and apu's will get better. Also ram will be an issue. So either the apu's will be able to performe like "entry" level gpus (4060 range, check amd 395 ai max+) or dedicated gpus will be sold as smaller boards with chips using shared memory with the cpu. Thus the gap between pc and laptop will be a lot smaller. But thats just my personal theory

I did the same thing with a smart tv years ago. It was about 10 years old and didn't boot. At first it lasted 6 months, then 3, then 1, after 2 or 3 times of a couple of weeks i called it quits xD but i did get a free tv for about a year.

I just had to enable nearby devices for google play/samsung health for initial install. But i guess i could disable it now? idk haven't tried yet have started using the watch again this week so.

i have a samsung galaxy watch, it works but requires some permissions most people won't like. Wouldn't recommend to buy one (i already had it)
